hi this is a trailer for our 2009 show - Last Meadow - which mixes original choreography and writing with material from James Dean's three films to create a mytho-poetic study of fallen heroes, confusion as an enlivened state, and America in a time of collapse. Made and performed by MG in collaboration with Michelle Boulé and Tarek Halaby, with assistance from Alex Anfanger and Neal Medlyn. Sound design by Neal Medlyn. Lighting design by Lenore Doxsee. Costumes by David Tabbert. Music includes excerpts of Mozart's Requiem and Leonard Rosenman, who wrote the score for East of Eden and Rebel Without a Cause, and Dimitri Tiomkin, who wrote the score for Giant.
