  • this was the best wrestling out there, and they put on a great show.

  • This is the feud that got me into wrestling in the first place. A real testament to Owen, Bastion Booger even looks good against him.

  • a real ring a ding dong dandy as ed whalen used to say makhan used to wear a boston bruins jersey to the ring. stampede wrestling ruled!!!!!!!!!

  • This goes to show what kind of talent the WWE had and wasted. To make this guy Bastion Booger was ridiculous and an insult to a great wrestling talent.

  • Nice to see Makhan wearing some gold :).

  • @IamtenBears Ah, I see. thanks. I'm neither US American nor Canadian. So, I'm all too often not really aware of Canadian or US American cultural backgrounds. Thanks for the info & the notice taht you actually wrote two messages. I really appreciate it.

  • @realblackhart Super late reply: Sorry, for the late reply, man. Of course a surname does not give you a certain nationality. I was just thinking, the surname "Singh" is pretty much narrowed to the Sikh religion of whom basically everyone is either Indian or of direct Indian decent. If you watch e.g. movies like "Bend it like Beckham" you can even see that normally, Sikh only marry Sikh. Basically, Indian origin only marries Indian origin. So his name confused me.

  • @GaolisVideoLog I posted to your commment that I see is a year old on Owen and Makhan; you might find it interesting, it is displayed below the person who said" who said he was Indian..."

  • That is why the people hated him so much; he joined with Gamma Singh, who was Indian or pakistani and formed the Karachi Vice, a spoof of the popular series Miami Vice, not sure how old you are or if you are familiar with it. Calgarians and western Canadians in general have been stereotyped as being rednecks and bigots and so this plot was dreamnt up by Bruce Hart, the brother of Bret, who was writing the storylines for Stampede at the time, and it went over like nothing else.

  • @parkerclone Just because he got saddled with some terrible gimmicks, Mike Shaw (Booger, Singh) was a pretty good worker, with a special something on the mic. As a kid, I really hated that guy.

  • An epic battle. Those were to grand days of wrestling!
