Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising Co-op Multiplayer

I've had the game since Launch Day, but unfortunately it didn't get along with Fraps, which made it difficult for me to do a timely review of the game.

Fraps has since been updated, and the following is footage from what I consider to be the strongest feature of the game: cooperative multiplayer. As you'll see and hear, the game is much more enjoyable when you have a good group of people to play with. Many thanks to the members and regulars at Legion of Sparta for their assistance and camaraderie whilst making this video.

Footage is taken from three of the Campaign Missions: "Powder Trail", in which the objective is to rescue a pair of downed chopper pilots; "Blinding the Dragon", which tasks you with taking out PLA air defense and radar positions; and "Eagle Offense", in which the objective is to seize control of Skira Island's only airfield. TeamSpeak was used for voice comms, not the in-game VoIP.

My system specifications: AMD Phenom II X4 965 OCed to 3.8GHz; dual EVGA GTX 280s in SLI; 4GB 1666 DDR3 RAM; Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

Is there any offline co-op feature for the console version of this game? As in can i play the game with my buddy beside me without needing to go online? Anyone?

@FrackVaren I have no idea, I only have the PC version. In any event, the game turned out to be mostly crap, I would recommend steering clear of it.

@robohobo38 No, there is no level-up or unlock system in this game. There are also no customized weapon/equipment load-outs in the included missions, although some user-made missions will let you select your own equipment load-out.

If there's one thing that this game has on ARMA2 it's the gore.

In ARMA 2 I shoot somebody with an M107, the death animation plays and a small spot of blood appears.

In OFP:DR and Red River. I shoot somebody with a M107. They're head explodes and they ragdoll.
