Conteo De Noticias Open & Close + ID, 2008

This is the open and close to Telemundo's centralized news program for the owned and operated stations in our region. It is produced at KXTX (aka the Telemundo Production Center) in the DFW area.

Luckily for the Houston audience, the main anchor as well as a number of reporters are with or have been with KTMD in the recent past.

The ID is among the few remaining elements left of the station's image that was introduced in 2005 when KTMD moved into their current studios.

Technically it's not a Houston newscast. It's aired on several of Telemundo's O&O stations in TX.

KTMD still has local updates in the mornings as well as the O&O elements they began using a few years back

KSTS also uses the Conteo for the 6, the 11pm is from the KNTV news room

No, the ID's have changed to read "Telemundo San Antonio". They have no am updates at all. I have a sample on here from 5 months ago. (see related videos, it should be the 1st one you see)
