I wrote this song yesterday.....it is about what God did for me these past few months. He showed me that alot of my life - alot of the things I did - was run by fear. And fear, really is debilitating. It gives us the illusion of being in control.....but when we hand everything over to God, a life of freedom like we've never known, ensues. Often, we cling so tightly to the things that we think we want.....things we think we need....and it seems to hurt us so much to let go of these things......yet God knows that when we finally surrender our everything to Him, then we are truly free....and we are able to see Him with unclouded vision. We can then see His love, and feel His heartbeat. See, it's an upside-down kingdom...the Kingdom of God.....you need to let go if you wanna receive, you've gotta give up your own desires and dreams to truly know what God's dreams are for you, and you've gotta die to self (choosing not your will, but the will of God) to experience true life. =)
