Scala Rider Bluetooth Headset Install and review.

I really don't recommend having a phone in your ear while you ride but there may be some occasions that you might need one. If out on a group ride, you could call another rider in the group to have communications with. Of course the "Honey, pick up some milk" call would be important.LOL

I've been interested in the Scala headsets for quite a while now, so it's good to see how to fit one. How likely is it to mark the paintwork on the outer shell of the helmet?

How loud is the speaker and how close does it have to be for one to hear it clearly?

It works very well. I wear a Full face helmet and it just Velcro's in the ear hole and does great. The better model, the Q2 has the capabilities to go rider/rider and rider/pillion with two units. With the one I reviewed, you have to use 2 separate cell phones. Works very will at high speeds.
