@Lindav94 He was a yellow bellied coward who attacked opponents to irritate them while refs were not looking, ran from guys who would obviously beat the crap out of him, and was reknowned for diving when anyone got close to him. His persona did not fit on a Colorado Avalanche's team. Now Philadelphia Flyer? Absolutey.

@Planktontwo Forsberg was one of the great players - he hit hard but fair. Yeah he was annoying to the opponents, but he didn't back down from punishment either. Hockey isn't a game of soccer...

@Lindav94 Classy? Get real. he runs when in trouble, hits opponents when the ref is not looking, and instigates. That is classy? I would call him the Bobby Heenan of the NHL. Good ridance Forsberg.

Doesn't matter, why does he go for the goalie when his issue is with someone else. What a crappy cheapshot he was in the NHL and there is no room for that from him or anyone else. Forsberg always hits the goalie when the refs were not looking. Belongs in the WWE, not in the NHL. Glad his NHL return did not work for him this season.

Not all Swedes are like that. Naslund, the Sedins, Lidstrom, etc... are all very classy players. Forsberg is the anomaly.
