  • oh might they?

    not that effective?

is this just because there's no true 3d models in the scene? or because the red/cyan delivery is cagey

in the meantime - after effects is very accessible - and makes stereoscopy fun to play around with ...

"ah-ha" was done with 2d planes in 3d space - and 2 virtual cameras side by side / rendered separately - then mixed using red/cyan and layer modes (looking forward to a better mainstream delivery option = interlaced for polarised systems for instance)

  • uh... its really not that effective. I'm sure "anyone who knows adobe aftereffects and it's 2d5 + virtual camera capabilities can do it" but they might be better to try and understand stereoscopy and do it properly.

  • you dissing my cousin davidtookit

  • i did it all for the nookie! haha... ED u r my future cities.

  • haha - maybe i do it for the same reason charlie ash do what they do - to pick up more girlz... hahahaha, no... 3d is so hot right now - i'm gonna do lots more - one day this stuff'll be piped to our screens 24/7 - and we'll have RL polarised contact lens implants.. boo yah

  • you are a damn good typical kiwi, doing the hard yards for free. nz needs more like you and more funding, rock on for nz music month!

  • turns out i did the 3d process to the video after i'd finished a 2d version - and for no extra charge cos it was fun.. just required doing a "left camera" re-render and a bit of red/cyan overlay with original 2d version.. ezpz - anyone who knows adobe aftereffects and it's 2d5 + virtual camera capabilities can do it...

in fact, i dare ya =P

  • valid point. what i was getting at was the cost of making it. new zealand music artist are already paid rubbish as it is, and to go spend money on some unnecessary 3d eye candy seems a such waste.

  • um, there is a 2D version..

    totes for video!

  • awesome song, love electronica style music. however i think the 3d concept is childish, considering also 99.9% of people are going to watch it in 2d, they should have it made it in 2d because it looks very average without the glasses.
