  • WOW! That takeoff took less than 17 sec :O Like the A318 :)

  • @ringbuchblock95 Yeah, thats because the plane is three quartres empty on fuel ;) It has to be light in order to take off that short runway and so they land at Ireland to refuel fully there before flying to America as Ireland has a large runway for it to take off with all that weight.

  • @mrmattandmrchay ..Thats very much the standard approach into LCY....wish it was me, and well done in getting 125euro back fron ba :)

  • They probably can't take anything much larger than an A318. Cute plane the A318 :D

My first time to land at LCY was 2 weeks ago, as I offered to take part in BA's "volunteer scheme" when my flight to LHR was busy. I got 125EURO, but landed at LCY instead of LHR. The plane was an older Q400, the panel right next to my arm vibrated (v.noisy!) for the whole journey!

Was hoping to land into LCY over London, but came in from East-nothing much to look at so was boring!
