However, to date, the Governor has not recognized the trials or executions as unconstitutional. Alexandar Campbell is my great great great uncle (not sure how many greats) and the book "The Molly Maguire Story" by Patrick Campbell also a relative of Alec Campbell, is a great book for anyone looking to learn more about the Molly Maguires.
Far too late to save Campbell and the other men who were executed on the infamous "Day of the Rope", both branches of the Pennsylvania legislature have passed resolutions (House Resolution No. 527, Session of 2005,[9] and Senate Resolution No. 235 Session of 2006)[10] recognizing the trials of Alexander Campbell and the other accused Molly Maguires as being inherently unconstitutional, and charging the governor Ed Rendell to do the same.
thats not exactly the full story...the man was an accused member of the Molly Maguires- a group of violent Irish coal miners who blew up coal mines in Pa and were hung for it. but this man claims he was innocent and his handprint is proof
and evil men are still trying to suppress the rights of workers organizing.
Like that squirrelly looking Governor in Wisconsin.
May Campbell's ghost haunt Scott Walker!
