The Walt Disney World Resort has marked several 40-year milestones this month, including the opening of Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Resort and the Electrical Water Pageant. Another 40-year milestone that we marked this week was the anniversary of the first fireworks display ever launched at Walt Disney World Resort. • Everytime I go to the Magic Kingdom, I never miss the fireworks :'D

  • I love to ride the rides while watching the fireworks, its amazing. I rode splash mountain once while watching one of the shows (I don't remember which one) and then watched the one in Epcot (again, don't remember what one :P) Back at our hotel. It was amazing, and I loved both moments with my family :)

  • I wish I could go to Disney World. Everything about it seems so amazing.

  • @iDatAsianKid WDW has pinwheels on their castle's exterior :) but not those two big ones the DL has.

  • Disney ruined other firework shows for me...im always thinking 'whats the story, im not getting it...there is a story to these right?' and 'Ok so these are not fitting with the music at all...cmon who choreographed this show??'. I love holding Disney standards to everything lol

  • I absolutely LOVE Walt Disney World! It's so magical and amazing. But, I've never really been a fan of fire works, I always thought they were a but over done- so I always used to completely ignore the "Wishes" display and just go on the rides... about a year ago I went on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad while "Wishes" was going on and that was literary the most perfect Disney moment I've ever had! I love Disney, because it really does make everything "magical" :D

  • Every time i exit from Epcot or Magic Kingdom after the Fireworks shows, i always have a magical feeling inside......

  • :/ look the firework shows they have now are great but we need something new

  • @vigo894 Yeah. We get some good ones, sometimes. :) The ones at New Year and on Bonfire Night are good, but never with a budget as big as Wishes.

  • @potchammy I disagree i saw Fantasmic at WDW and was very disappointed, to me it felt like a industrial kind of feeling show, not very magical. The amphitheater seating and the whole set up for it just didn't feel as magical as the Disneyland fantasmic (which is the version i saw first). But just my opinion.
