Then you start thinking about the war on Christmas all in the name of politcal correctness and not wanting to offend. Offend who ? Muslims , Jews , Buddists , Atheists ,etc

why do we care what they think ?

Do they alter their traditions so as not to offend others ? NO.

Don we now our bright apparel ?

When it comes to music there is no religion. I am Jewish and love this song and many of the other Christmas songs. There are no lines in the sand as far as I am concerned. I also enjoy the Christmas holiday. As a member of the Jewish community I can say with assurity that faith driven tradition does not offend, in fact it enhances.

@ohgee1 Obama's been in 3 yrs and he's at fault? Schools are public. All faiths, including those that have no faith are required to attend. Why have them faced with a Christian God they might not believe in. This is not a Liberal or Democrat doing. We all pay taxes and should expect to see public buildings free from Religion. Separation of State and Church, otherwise we'd be just like those Islamic countries. Churches nor Christmas are under attack. More like seculars and other faiths.

@xxtwr1, you're wrong. My fellow Democrats have become TOO LIBERAL and are trying to remove God from everything, schools, courthouses and in some cases our churches (forcing gay marriage, which goes against our religious beliefs). Obama is the main culprit. I will not vote for him again.

So in a way, there is a war on Christmas. :-)

@Leo93230 There is no war on Christmas. No one says you should stop celebrating it, or advertising it or shopping for it. You just shouldn't expect others of a different faith to have to conform to your practises. When we say Seasons Greetings, it is not to tell you that you have to say it our way, and when you say Merry Christmas to us, we are glad you have a faith. It is Christmas, no one disputes that, just don't force others to participate. The war is actually against other faiths.
