  • I did some research and found that you can make text to speech work on the E71. You have to download a voice package to your computer and use the Nokia PC Suite to transfer it to the phone. I have a link in the review that's on my site, which you can get to by clicking the description link on this video.

  • Check my YouTube channel for a couple more videos. I have one showing the E71 using Facebook and another showing it using YouTube.

  • I have someone working on a review, and I'll make sure they cover the video and radio capabilities of the Nokia E71. So far, all of the initial reports on the phone have been very positive.

  • Does this phone have threaded text messaging?

  • Thank you so friggin much for a simple, to the point, review.

  • @vanessadoyle12 I agree that nothing really beats the iPhone, but I simply can't afford to pay 100 bucks a month for a wireless plan on my budget. This seems to be like the next best thing, plus I can essentially do the same things and it costs less than half as much per month. So I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.

  • If you have to have an IPhone, nothing else is going to do. But if you're not hung up on a particular brand, why not go for a phone that offers many of the same great features, but at a much better price? Straight Talk's E71 is the way to go for people who want to be cutting edge without going broke!

  • @TOgtv - I highly doubt Straight Talk is going to pick up the iphone, but when you are getting so many great benefits, who needs it? For only $45 a month you can utilize the unlimited minutes, texts and data on one of Straight Talk's smart phones. It may not be an iphone, but at least it won't break the bank and there are no contracts to worry about.

  • @djmars1983 hell yea

  • @TOGtv1 Well not so much as a Iphone But an Android phone. If they(Straight Talk) were to start releasing and selling Android phones I would pretty much shit myself.

  • if straight starts selling iphones i would shit myself thumbs up if u would to

  • My boss put me in charge of researching the smart phones available with prepaid. She is trying to cut back on expenses and the contract phone is just draining her. Todya, I was able to actually hold and check out this phone at my friend's house. This is a great looking phone with all the features she needs and then some. Since you need the unlimited plan to use it, my boss can plan the $45 into her monthly budget. And, she won't have to obligate to another expensive contract.

  • I really feel like Straight Talk has turned a corner here. One of the things most of friends who still have contracts would say is "they limit the features on their nicer phones". Well its no longer true and I can't why anyone would want anything else, I really doubt they could beat the price!
