ok so i did like everythibg u said stepbystep but as soon as i got to ipod 1.1.1 restore, my cpu said:
the ipod touch cpuld not be restored because the firmware file is not compatible.
so wat do i do now?

dude plz reply i did all the steps i can do the shift-restore thing , then it star s restoring but it freezes on a loading bar it say ´´WAITING FOR IPOD´´ i left it for like 20 min and nothing happened plz reply
