  • we recommend using 5,7,9 rl and , 5, 7,9,11 m1's when beginning. Only use the round shaders for small areas, 7 or 8rs ,a mag should be used when shading

  • This guy needs his own channel i he deff sounds like he knows what hes talking about!!Props nice video!!

  • @lilnugizaking he did only the outline in 3 and a half hrs. homie he didnt say how long for the colors..

  • I like your style of shading and blending of the colors. This with your use of contrast makes for so much less outlining. I would love to learn to draw like you do.

I work with vinyl graphics and vector images a lot now. Been thinking of getting into tattooing for years. Via apprenticeship of course. After watching you, it gives me the urge a little more.

Thanks for the great video and lesson.

  • this nigga did this in 3 and 1/2 hrs hes got my vote haha

  • Nice bro, I like this, ttya soon Aug

  • @ben1976452 Theres an ink I use, called "blacker"...it's great....And magnums are better because of the coverage...flat shaders dont get as good of coverage because of the sace between the needles...those mags kick ass man...and I would say for just black tribal an 18RS would be a little small...too much contact in one area for all the color you're gonna be doing....use a mag for the lines and inward, so you get good clean lines, but then switch to something a little bigger for the inside.

  • did he use a stencil for that tattoo?

  • I'v used these techniques you mentioned and it has help considerably on kio fish in water sleeve on working on. Thanks.

  • 3 quick questions

Q1. What's the best way to get a truly black tribal? i've used kuro sumi (that fades quite a bit after even with car as does starbrite tribal black)

Q2. You've mentioned magnums quite a bit what are the benefits of magnums over flat shaders?

Q3. When tattooing large tribal i use 18RS needles a fair bit is this ok would you recommend larger or smaller.

I'm fairly new to tatooing and i've just been practicing on pig skins and myself any advice greatly appreciated thanks!!!
