Let's Play Dynamite Headdy! [MIJET] - 01 - Opening, Escape Hero!, Three Friends

Now for something a little bit different.

Like I mentioned on the Italy video, DC and I are having some scheduling concerns (the portal in the basement of my dilapidated mansion, through which our parallel universes make contact, is currently under repair). So I'm taking the opportunity to redo an earlier solo LP of mine, Dynamite Headdy. The retranslated version by MIJET, with extra dialogue.

This LP aims to be more informative/educational rather than haha funny, but don't worry, this game is truly a bastard at certain points. I remember it took me around 45 minutes to beat Baby Face in the original LP. Let's see how much pain I can wrangle out of it this time.

What I like about your LPs, is that you're very informative. To me, it's similar to knowing that you are a VERY loving fan, or you know the game like the back of your hand. I like learning more about games I've never heard of (in this case, I've only heard that the music was good), so I could try it out myself. :)

I actually can't beat this game. I'm colorblind, so I always screw up the cues on the final boss.

Interesting. I'll keep an eye on this. Not only did the balls he throw from his charge HURT, but they were also far LARGER. Take a look at the related videos-PaleVoyager's is the US/EU version, and you can see the difference.

I like how everything in the overseas version was made 500% more lethal, especially in boss fights. And by "like" I mean "as a child, was constantly enraged by."

Great LP, great to see more women doing this sort of thing (especially one with a great voice such as yourself) I feel you do a better job by yourself, You don't get this sort of entertainment anymore. Keep up the good work. I always loved this game, The controls I feel though are abit stiff.

You know, the one thing I never got was WHY they left out all the dialogue.

The first time I played it, I was like "Wow- this game is AWESOME... Wait- what's going on? What's that guy doing? Why's he/she doing it?" and then I found out about the dialogue cuts JUST TODAY and was like "Whoa... What? I gotta see what was said so I know what the story was about."

I mean, it's a puppet show. XD it's GOTTA have a story.

I just want to say THANK you for let's playing this, and it's awesome. Maybe later you could Let's Play the Game Gear version, just for completion sake. Among other games. ;)

Wow, it is odd to look at the differences, I grew up with the US one and never knew until a few years ago the differences.

I still wonder why they edited a lot of it.

But with your videos I can watch the differences and it is nice.

Hey Luna this happens to be one of my favourite Genesis games, It's great to see someone else out there who likes it too. Where did you find that Translated version of the Japanese game? I finished the US version just yesterday and my god it's hard but even then I still love playing it.
