Long Island Cruizin' For a Cure- September 13, 2009

The 2009 Long Island Cruizin for a Cure Car Show, the only car show for the benefit of Prostate Cancer testing and education on Long Island, will be held in Melville on Sunday, September 13, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Ferrari Maserati of Long Island, AAA of New York, and Plycon Group of Kings Park will be major sponsors. South Nassau Communities Hospital provided free onsite PSA blood-screening tests. Of the 205 men tested at the 2008 show, 5 were found to have elevated PSAs (the first possible indication of Prostate Cancer) and were referred to their physicians for follow-up.
