i watched a version of this on here, it was great but i dont understand what is really happening to the children. or wat happens at the end. can anyone tell me?

its actually an opera written by benjamin britten, I have no idea if they turned a book out of it but its his most well known opera imo. i love it :)

In LOST series they used references about this book.And the man who appears on this video looks like one of the characters of the series called "Christian Shephard".This person was in a coffin on the plane,so when the plane crashed the coffin was empty and some people watched him walking going through the jungle

But it still a mistery wheter he came to life or he's a ghost

My point is: this is an excellent book,the series took an ingredient and added it to make a perfect creepy environment

Oh my God.

I swear my heart gave this huge jolt when the man (Quint?) showed up in the corridor... I just plain freaked out. Simple, but very effective trailer; what with the combination of the dim atmosphere and creepy music. I'm not sure I could watch it again, though...
