Walking With Pumas Part 1

I spent a month in the Bolivian jungle working on a refuge for pumas and jaguars at Parque Ambue Ari, part of Inti Wara Yassi Community.
Most of the cats in the park were illegally taken out of the wild and sold on the black market when they were cubs. This park takes them in. These cats cant live in the wild alone (they are too comfortable with humans, and there is very little habitat left for large predators), so the park gives each cat their own territory in the jungle which they are free to roam around in for several hours every day with a volunteer... like me
