Chopper "9" ride along package

An opportunity to ride along with pilot Aaron Fitzgerald and videographer Gil Leyvas in chopper "9". Gil and Aaron fly out of Whiteman airport for channel 2 and channel 9 helicopter service. This was a great experience that came about because Gil is an alumni of Santa Ana College's tv production department that I am now part of. These are clips from the early shift over the recent fires in Los Angeles. A package with pilot Larry Welk from the night shift will follow shortly. Thanks for the opportunity Gil. I loved it.

Hi, I actually was involved with a weekly news show on Time Warner that is produced by the Digital Media Center at Santa Ana College. Gil Leyvas - the chopper nine videographer - is an alumni of that program, and occasionally invites students and producers from the show to do the "ride along". It was a great experience!
