What's up with the electricity around them before they start fighting?

@ballrdd24 Finally, if you listen to Tifa during Cloud`s last fight with Kadaj, she clearly says that Cloud found his strength again. Also, Cloud is a seph clone, but so were the remnants, and Reno and Rude put up a fairly good fight against them. Cloud owned both of the at the beginning. And yes, the sword is a symbol, but again, this story is primarily about Cloud forgving himself and moving on in life. its foolish to think Cloud could get all is exp back in 2 fights. HE HAD IT ALL ALONG!!

@ballrdd24 Now, the wolf around the old buster sword actually represents an imbodyment of Zach Fair`s spirit, and yes, in a way, Cloud`s guilt. The wolf is also in Cloud`s visions and it disapears when Zach and Aerith walk away at the very end which symbolizes Cloud forgiving himself of the past. Cloud`s Geostig is cured by Aerith at the garden since Aerith is a decendant of the original CETRA and she has some control over the earth/life stream even when she is dead. This is how Cloud was cured.

@ballrdd24 Ok, Your misunderstanding ALLOT of things so this may take a few comments boxes. First, Geostigma is not Cloud`s personal guilt. Geostig is the earths resistance to Seph`s presence in the life stream, kind of like an allergic reaction. It is affecting MANY more people then just Cloud. And Cloud does have a brief fight with the turks when he visits Shinra at the beginning of the film, which is where Shinra says that Cloud still knows how to fight and that he needs his help.

She says that Cloud's still the strongest of the group. Cloud never even fought Reno or Rude in Advent. Besides the point, of course they'd lose: Cloud's a superhuman.
It's all connected: The blade represents Cloud's strength. The stigma represents the guilt eating away at him. The Fenrir wolf following him around represents the guilt itself.
By the end of the movie his sword is complete, the stigma is gone, and the wolf caught up and disappeared.

@docbach329 3)Yes, ff and kh arent really linked. Its just all cameos. I'm saying that sora is stronger because these this was the beginning of sora's journey. They both get stronger but cloud fought sora when cloud already knew some form of fighting. We can go back and forth on saying who's stronger but i really don't feel like doing that, and i don't think you wanna do it either. But thanks for not lashing out on me, all the arguments I've gotten into on this topic didnt end so well :(
-
@docbach329 1)yeah i guess you can tell he had a small hunch but that doesnt change the fact that he was fighting a unexperienced sora.
2)I'm not sure you understood me. I'm saying that if cloud were to fight you as fast as he fought sephiroth (in the cutscene), then the player wouldnt be able to follow cloud. Cloud would just be constantly hitting you and the battle would be over before you will be able to even block. I hope i explained this right.

@aaabbbcccfgh 4) On a side note, KH and Final fantasy are 2 completely different games and nothing chronologically links the 2 game franchises. Sora may have gotten stronger as you say but this has no relevence since you cant put it on a time line with Cloud`s progression and strength growth. I still disagree with your assumption that Sora is stronger but you cant compare the 2 games like that.
Also, im not going to bitch you out even though we disagree on everything. I can be civil too. :D

@ballrdd24 Wrong. Cloud still knows how to fight very well, he is just depressed and un focused. He easily pwns the 2 turks and shinra even says he still has it. Yes Tifa says the party got weaker, but during Cloud`s battle with the last seph remnant, she says that Cloud still has it. The 1st Tsurugi may be a symbol, but this has MUCH more to do with Cloud forgiving himself of his past and moving on. THAT symbolizes his return to full power. Again. Back to the dilly dallying line.
-
@aaabbbcccfgh 1) He didnt know for sure but you could tell he had a hunch. Thats why he is constantly staring at the ground wondering if this is the right way to find seph, thus, why he is confused and un-focused. 2) This has NOTHING to do with speed. Your just ignoring the point i made :( 3) Again, he had a FEELING but he didnt know for sure, so he tried trusting Hades and it didnt work. Again, this is why he looks so confused/ unfocused/ unsure during this whole scene and fight.
This is pretty much proof that Cloud half-asses most of his battles. Accept for Sephiroth. Cloud would have wasted Sora if he was actually motivated to fight him. Like he was with Sephy here.

Lol- that is what I would of said is Sora had jumped in there and said-- "THATS THE POWER OF THE KEYBLADE" right when the two started fighting each other which is obviously EPIC
