@MrHobiecat true .maybe he's moving towards that and thats why hes demonstrating it.hitting a stone/pothole,gutter ,etc.with a recumbent is way more dangerous compared to a bicycle.i saw a dude go off into the gutter and burn his leg on the curvestone.its hard to flee when you lose control on a recumbent.i want that varna trike ,its about 18in. wide, which is good.do you know anything about that varna trike?

@ohmphthschwrhu he did NOT jump the curb, he simple rode the bike over the curb.
To jump a curb you need to hop up on the pedals, to get all your weight off the bike, so the wheels dont bend.

the solution to a problem that doesnt exist. There has never been a time when Ive been riding any of my recumbent bikes, when I wished it would suddenly turn into an asshatchet butt wedgy!

Looks heavy, but I need to see it.

Good job, the best of both worlds. We need more adaptable bike designs, adapted to road conditions, air drag and ergonomics, not the highly specialized classes the bike industry is caught up in. Weight is not a big issue in a flat area and highway cruising when you have good aerodynamics but light weight is a must for climbers, off road and commuters who must brake and accelerate often.

Im afraid I disagree, It looks a 'clunky' and pretty crap design....heavy too!!!...And I get the feeling the transition is hard going!!

I think tranformables and fixed 2 seaters have a big future. They are more usefull. (I posted the video response)
