the church is so beautiful. it's really such a pity that they've gone and installed so many of those unsightly tv screens when they aren't really necessary in the nave.

This is a beautiful Cathedral carrying on a very good job of work. I sang in the choir during the sixties and am very pleased that I am in constant communication with a Cathedral member of staff. The choirmaster I remember was a gentleman by the name of Quek who had a wonderful counter tenor voice. After all these years I wish I were still attending at St. Andrew's, they must have done something right - God bless them all.

Beautiful Hymn, I well remember hearing "Rock of Ages" being sung in Chinese at the service just before the service in English. We were welcomed and seated up front in comfortable padded pews. And the Geckos running on the walls.

I remember vividly being driven up in a taxi from Keppel Road Docks after sailing for over three months on a container ship (as 3rd Mate) and crying when I saw the cathedral. I hadn't realized how homesick I was.
Then I went to Raffles and got hammered.
