These sharks are banded cat sharks, Banded cats and bamboos are both common names for the same shark, I'd recommend epaulette sharks as a first shark. A 5' x 3' would be ok for 2 Epaulettes if you get them small, make sure you do a lot of research on filtration as sharks produce a lot of waste, a lagoon style tank with live rock and macro algae looks really good, but make sure the live rock is really sturdy because sharks like to dig and the rock work could fall on them. My best advice would be

@Qwerty791991 what about a banded cat shark?

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! please dont put sharks in a tank that small, even this tank is barely big enough, these sharks should be in a 6 foot by 4 foot tank absolute minimum when they are small, height doesn't matter but should be at least 2 foot high. These sharks also get will over a metre long, so this tank will definitely need to be upgraded.

is a 90 gallon good for life for one of these?

Im cycling my shark tank but i need help. I have only 2 t5s and i unpluged my heater, took off my glass top and turned off powerheads. My temp drop from 86-80. I have a vented cabin but no drop in temp. Please someone help. What can i do other then getting a pricey chiller. I have already put so much money into it and cant get a chiller. Im pretty sure my skimmer (pm bullet 3) cause most of the heat. Is it wise to turn it on and off to keep temps at least at 78

with bamboo sharks, do you HAVE to have live rock or coral??? or can you just have fake decorations..

i saw your video on your two bamboo sharks and have a couple questions. im thinking about getting two of them.
1. are they whitespotted bamboo sharks?
2.how much was your tank and where did you get it from
3.where did you get your sharks?
4.do you keep any other fish with them now?
5.how big should the bottom of the tank be?(the width-for them to turn around)
if you could answer these it would be great
thanks.
