San Antonio Tornado-1992

1992-An EF0 tornado briefly strikes a veterinarian clinic on the NW side of San Antonio near Guilbeau and Tezel Rd. This was shot from my front yard in the early afternoon, about a mile away from the funnel cloud. I would have shot more footage, but I thought it might be a good idea to put my two infant children in a safe place!

I live in san antonio but gladly I wasnt born yet when this happened. But I hear that we are on tornado watch again

You know you live in an area that isn't used to tornadoes when there aren't sirens going off non-stop for an hour before and after it occurs. Got a slight chuckle out of "tornado maximus" comment. I like that.

I was 22 and now 41. All my life I have told people about the first tornado I saw and the one you filmed is it. When I saw that everything outside looked green I knew something was wrong. I think the road my apartment was on was huebner? Anyway I called the weather station and instead of warning people they wanted to know if I had a camara. It was bright white and much thicker and larger when it brushed over the vet clinic. thanks for the post now I can show my kids etc.

i live in michigan which sometimes does get tornados but not often but thank god i don't live in kansas. tornado alley

Oh my goodness, I never knew there was a tornado in San Antonio! I lived down the neighborhood, off of Cliffbrier and Valley Dale. Really scary! I was only 9 years old at the time.

What ended up happening to the tornado?
