How will attitudes and habits change without Ownership?

"the environment" sounds like some distant thing belonging to no-one.

"Our environment", "Our Climate" becomes everybody's precious asset.

  • Let's address (rank order) the major issues facing global humanity.

  • If you really want to get down to brass tacks then I believe the two biggest -causal- issues that have brought humanity to this turning point are:

    Myopic Egocentricity (the "me/now" syndrome)

Fear of Mortality (attachment to individual character and memory rather than awareness of being the latest expression of a continual evolving consciousness).

Deal with those two and how different might our value system and choice of conduct be?

  • u must be a nerd

  • I refuse moral judgments of others and demand fact based dialogue on science matters not rhetoric. I think I understand my basic belief system and recognize this is shaped by my experience and standing. I do not give a hoot about others' proselytizing and try to not lecture them about their morality. But at this point I have a good feeling about the "is", "believe" and "ought to be".

  • Our environment. If we treat it like our own we will take better care of it, because it really is ours. Lets teach the youth how to take care of their future.

  • So fucking right...hey...even best yet...why don't just take care of our world. And then...watching it from that point of view...the Davos questiong by simply changing "the" for "our" becomes a global matter that compromises everyone.

  • Superb!

  • Wow! Nice point. human psychology. Never would have thought of something as simple as that! Great video

  • Nice one, simple but effective!
