for a cheap but good sound you should get a ''Digital reference mic''($100),

a ''podcast factory midi box''($100),a ''xenyx802 mixer''($50),

and use ''sony acid 7.0 recording program''( you can get it for free)

and if you got a couple of more dollars get a ''3630 compressor''($100)

on far as using the sony program you can just watch tutorials on how to use it.
