@gargerman If I am correct. I heard this song came out before Sonic 2. They used the version without lyrics and made it 16-bit for Sonic 2. I might be wrong though.

@grim10fire I liked Sonic 06, too. I loved the music and if you ignore the oading screens and glitches, it's a fun game.

@delerious0 The original song is the ending song for Sonic 2. The original had no lyrics, this is a remix. Gargerman was talking about Sonic 2. When it was remixed it became about Sonic and Elise.

@thingoodbrony98 What I hate about the game is Crush 40 "All Hail Shadow". They ruined the Magna-Fi version. I was very used to NOW LOADING screen, cause it's perfectly normal for me, ever since I played my very first Sonic game, Shadow the Hedgehog. That was an awesome game, people's gotta stop bitchin about it.

@grim10fire I'm an all around Sonic fan too. I mean, why does everyone keep bickering about 06? I hated Elise but that was it. It had outstanding graphics for 2006, so I don't see people's problem.

best version would be the akon remix with only the girl's voice. (remove the random rapping bits basicaly. the melody sounds better in that version)
