  • i love this! i'm singing it at christmas, i'm so terrified when it goes into three part canon, i'm a second sop and tend to get lost and start singing 1st sop, it sounds beautiful though, where are you based i would love to hear some more of your music.

  • It's a hard part indeed. Good luck! we are based in Haarlem, The Netherlands. We just recorded our first christmas album; check the website beginning of december to order it! And if you happen to be in Holland during Christmas check out our Christmas concerts :)

  • This has got to be my favorite Christmas song. Yes, it is outrageously difficult and no one understands the words but it's the words that make it powerful. Kudos to this ensemble!

  • We are singing this song this year in chamber chior .... there are only a few voicces but i think we can hadle it :D

  • I've never heard this song SATB before and you guys did a wonderful job.

  • I was put into Choir late and everyone else already knew all the songs. This was the first song we had to sing.

  • Jullie zijn echt goed!!

  • I'm learning this right now in choir. It's my FAVORITE song in the entire book!!

  • this song is so intense. my choir sang this a couple years ago, along with other fac ut and stabat mater. i loved it. good job btw.

  • The St. Georges Singers in Belfast, Northern Ireland will be singing this S.A.T.B. version at Christmas 2010. I love your version, the voices blend so well.

  • I've never heard it with men in it before, usually young boys sing it, or sometimes girls. I know Britten authorised this arrangement, and it's really well done, but still sounds a bit strange to me.

  • i performed this song about a year ago and still love it
