well, the fact is that their reaction was way more disrespectful than her way of dressing, so no I dont have to 'understand' the situation. And the point is that she's pretty, Im sure if she were ugly wearing the same dress they wouldnt have made a big deal out of it

the reason why they got mad was becasue it was a private school and it apparently was disrespetcful. Ya we did create the image that brasilians wear thongs on the beach and walk naked at the carnival but those aren't private schools for learning. I do agree that they over did it. they shouldnt have made such a huge riot, but you have to understand the situation. school in brasil is taken very seriously and disrespect isn't allowed where as here its not enforced as much.

How the hell does the school not allow a normal dress that's a little short, but allows a freggin riot??? I mean really now! That is a riot going on! I'm fairly certain any college in America would be more interested in the fact that so many students are out of class and rioting over one student, rather than one girl who happens to be wearing a small dress. (Thats really not even that short)

Male or female does not matter. One should dress approriate to an occasion, how you dress at work, study, in church or at events such as funerals is important.
