Sounds a bit like Tom Dooley.

please please never delete your channel. I am 17 and I used to worship this guy whose channel was called peglegsam - and he had all the old pete seeger rainbow quest episodes, and one day I checked back and it was all gone. Having that happen to your channel would leave another hole in my heart

No idea but I'm nabbing that tune!

I love this, Tim. A new favorite. I just put it on my blog.
I have no idea what the tune is. Totally ignorant.

here's to fiddling shadows! great playing and cinematography.

You and I play the same miner and modal type of old time... You play in a very nice simple way... I try to make it as complex as I can... Also do you use a 12in rim or an 11in rim?

brilliant... and i agree about the shadow... if you cover the half of the image with yiou in it ( no offence :-D) it kinda looks like an animation... nice

I have no idea but I wanna go there:) dang it I love banjo !!!

The natural beauty in your videos brings out the contemplative side of the music you play. Thank you!

My guess was also "goin across the sea", but you definitely have a different take than most I've heard. Love the scenery and music :)
I tend to do the same thing...
The tune reminds me a bit of "Going Across the Sea", it may be the same?

@haikumathieu That would be rather appropriate. Maybe it's called "I'm going across the sea after I play some festivals in the Czech Republic and buy some duty free Krecik socks at the Prague airport." (How do you say "Krecik/Krtek/Mali Moljac" en Francais?")

@batfancy Wish I could help, but I got no idea what "Krecik/Krtek/Mali Moljac" are? :-)

@haikumathieu Dude! The little mole guy cartoon- you must have him in French. He likes flowers and birds, and plays records and things?...

Respond to this video... Well, I check on Google, but it doesn't ring any bell...I'll ask around to see if it's just me, or if it never aired around here...Anyway, there's a short entry in Wikipedia, apparently, it's called either Taupek, or La Petite Taupe (the little mole). I gonna watch some

@haikumathieu Of course there's no reason why you should know this cartoon- I just assumed the little mole was as popular in France as in other parts of Europe.
