@nhiles919 I worked for the federal government for almost 25 years and was forced to retire due to health issues. The FED needs an overhaul and the EPA has to be eliminated. I stand by my opinion, I dealt with them and they were totally ridiculous. Talk about a bureacracy, the EPA is a prime example. Their studies of simple issues would take volumes of paperwork.

@Bobemakk AGAIN - you don't wipe out an entire agency like the EPA because of one example of environmentalists being extreme. And yes, I realize there is more than one example that you can recite, but that doesn't mean it's the face of the agency. You try and fix it......not abolish it. There are too many greedy people/politicians in the world to allow a free for all on our environment.

@dagg67 Have you actually looked into the EPA, or are you just one of those that thinks if the fed govt creates a dept it must be effective and its mere existence does us good? We can't live in fantasy land anymore and pretend things are different than they really are. Covering your eyes doesn't work to change reality. Consider that corporations have taken our govt over, then put your thinking cap on and see how this may apply. Join Reality. States would still regulate (as they do now).
