Muslim children in certain areas are 13 times more likely to be born with birth defects than non-Muslims due to a tradition of arranged marriages with cousins. This documentary highlights how political correctness allows this to happen in modern day Britain and Europe. Is this British media propaganda? Or does this actually happen alot within Muslim communities?

If there were no socialized national health system, there would be no cost to taxpayers to care for these unfortunate children. The various islamic charities would then be those who are helping the families.

I noticed the imam, where too many moslems depend on their guidance (or brainwashing) couldn't comprehend the problem. I think that the problem, or a great deal of the problem, can be pinpointed right with that angry little man.

Few people who oppose cousin marriages know the science of heredity. The fact is that the recessive genes could be good or bad both. If the recessive genes are good, then there is no harm in first cousin marriages. In fact, it may promote the eugenic quality of the individual. On the other hand, if the genes are bad, then the cousin marriage should be prevented. Modern science has a well-structured system to evaluate the risk for individual families and advise the couples.
