I agree with everything that has been said....I believe that THIS is Gary Numan's finest hour....What an incredible live performance!! Give it up for the godfather of New Wave, Gary Numan!! He pioneered/revolutionized electronic music and I would put him second only to Kraftwerk in importance....

i saw this live in 1980 at southampton mayflower (then called the gaumont theatre)
it was even better at wembley

if you look closely that little car thing he was in is hand controlled, you can see him navagating it. i always thought that a computer made it move around the stage. i was wrong!

great love this footage. fast becoming my most reqested video in fact i've just added it to my favorites. that song and the live experences will be long remembered. a classic moment.

In my opinion this is Numans finest song and this is the greatest live version of it, and i was there that night in September 1980 at the Hammersmith Odeon in London, a night that changed my life forever.

Sorry if i upset anyone but i agree. In my opinion these songs all sound better when played with the original moogs etc

I agree with you about the moogs, modern synths can NEVER match them, but i also think that its also much better because the original band were REAL musicians, the band today are just very average, probably not much better than pub or small club standard.
The original band of 1979 to 1981 were real musicians that made Numans early songs into masterpieces.
