Honestly, this has nothing to do with race or genre of music. Don't you remember being a kid and learning Spanish/French through songs? Even the alphabet is put to a song. It's just one way of learning. Personally, I'm black and I don't like rap. If you looked through my iPhone, you'd find 0 rap artists. So, don't just assume that all black people listen to rap.
