Yes, I use anything I can find as a tripod if needed. I am a Lomographer at heart so the cooler the results the better.

look for a video by MAKEMAGAZINE called How-To: Develop Film with Coffee and Vitamin C (Caffenol) watch this video. I need to note that he puts his (round cylander that the reel goes on whatever thats called) upside down and it bothers me but Im sure the people at the camera supply store can show you how. Caffenol is kind of a lomography style of developing and a lot of people in the business dont know about it so its fun to read up on join the caffenol page on facebook its awesome

Awesome, thanks I will look into it! Right now I am living at my college and so I am tight on space, but it does sound like a much cheaper solution than sending them off for development like I do now. Thanks! :)

I'm putting this here because Im not sure where to post it. Do you develop your own film? If not I highly recommend it. A cheap way to develop black and white is to use Caffenol which uses coffee to develop film you can literally get every ingredient at Walmart ( its the only place I have found the washing soda) for under $10 and it will last you forever (the only "chemical" you need is the fixer which you have to get at a camera store and its pretty cheap as well and reusable) look it up!!!
