@terminator847 You're dreaming, we'll see it in our lifetime. Do you think rich people want to die? That's why they're funding rejuvination medicine, nanotechnology and other things in science. Well, of course there could be opposite, governments starting to wake up and fund science much more, cut militarism and start peace and prosperity age again.

In the 60's you were seeing movies about the year 2011 where the world is full of flying or hovering cars, talking robots, and holiday trips to Saturn. Yet all we achieved is bigger TV's and laptops.

@RareBunRoll in order to have that kind of rapid technological advancement, you have to have wars(like the cold war) to encourage enemies to create new technologies to be stronger than the other, but now there is no war like that, so politicians see no need to fund any type of futuristic technology, including nanobots, which is the reason why you won't see it in your lifetime.

+ people are afraid of change, these kinds of augmentations will turn societies and ways of life inside out.
