In pne of the most audacious British military missions of the twentieth century, Vulcan bombers were sent from the UK on a marathon round trip to bomb Argentine occupying forces on the Falkland Islands in the South Pacific.

@zackote27 If the entire population of the Isle of Wight wanted to be Argentinian, and wanted Argentina to defend the island against neighbouring GB who invaded the country without provocation 30 years previously, I for one would back Argentina on that one.

I say this as an Irishman btw, not a Brit... although it shouldn't matter.

You obviously don´t and you show your kicking people out of their territory nature that we dont have now. We dont want to kick out people who want to be english. Southamericans have of course a much more normal and relaxed way of seeing this kind of problems because we are not colonialists. The Canary islands belong to Spain despite closer to Africa. Greenland is Denmarks even though it is nearly in Canada's backyard. The Faroe's are Danish too despite them being closer to us than mainland Denmark.
