my son is 14, he's learning about Darwin's finches right now in his science class. I wholeheartedly support this learning. It horrifies me that some people in their ignorance are trying to suppress this knowledge from our children. Can any good come from that? It seems to me that people are actually moving backwards, that we are becoming less educated.

This helped me SO MUCH. I'm doing a Biology project where I write a journal from the point of view of Darwin when he visited the Galapagos, and this is probably one of the best sources that I've found so far. Thanks a ton for posting this!
