  • Curious ( I know nothing about this line of work), what happens if the rods fall back down the hole? Does that ever happen? Thanks

  • @dmagdaleno

That would be very bad, but it does happen. They would fall back to the seat nipple like a rocket depending on how far they have to fall. Could part the tubing too.

  • didn't know rods could be pulled that slow. I've seen crews pull rods easily twice as fast in Canada, at -30.

  • Hope they don't skip over any pitted rods.

  • @mikeedobb999999991 i work on a Apex Rod Rig that just got built a month ago and we got it in Slave Lake, Alberta and the blocks go so fast its scary. its a 2011 rod rig with disk brakes. these guys are slack asses, one roughneck on a crazy fast rig. these guys gotter made eh

  • @bigwoodz420

If I had to guess, it would be easier to work in the cold than the heat. The coldest I have seen it around here is 8*F.

  • dam boys dont be nervous its just well service my operator would eat these guys for breakfast....wtf is this puss n boots well service sorry guys but theres just sometimes in the oilfield you gotta put out.

  • @dmagdaleno then you go fishing

  • Wow, never seen rod wrenches move that slow. And why does he put the wrenches down? Are they too heavy for him? These guys wouldn't last a day in the Alberta oil patch. Slow and lazy.

  • @mikeedobb999999991

I use to work in West Texas with a three man crew back in the 90's and we pulled rods twice as fast.

    These guys are milking it!

  • @mikeedobb999999991 New man in the derick
