The Alaska Report August 2009

In the month of August, 2009, Senator Mark Begich hosted the Alaska Report. In this episode, the Senator interviews four young Alaskan college students that served as interns in his Washington D.C. office during the summer of 2009. The guests from left to right are Molly, of Kodiak, Brendon, of Anchorage, Alex, of North Pole, and Haines, of Anchorage. Senator Begich discusses their experiences in his office, including things that surprised them, valuable knowledge they gained, and how their impression of the legislative process has evolved. To end the program each of the interns ask the Senator a question.

The Alaska Report is a public broadcast program hosted by the Alaska Congressional Delegation. In the 111th Congress, Senator Begich and Senator Lisa Murkowski rotate hosting duties and interview guests of their choice.
