  • Does the gm performance in take make a difference

  • Actually it did and sound great. NOT THAT RICE SHIT. Got the stock exhaust back on it now cuz Im trading it in for a Ion Redline.

  • nice man. what else did you do to it. exhaust?

  • I modified the GM intake and put on a bigger filter, back in July. Still got the same old GM performance exhaust. Also got slotted/drilled rotors and semi-metallic brakes all the way around. LOL! Thinking bout trading it in 4 a Turbo SS sometime next month.

  • why would you buy a SS automatic. Any ss shouldn't come with an automatic tranny option. good thing the s/c and turbo only come in manual

  • I didn't know how to drive a stick at the time.

  • I have an SS auto, but my daily commute involves a lot of traffic and stop lights, so an auto suits me better. What's wrong with auto transmissions?

  • yup also new mods for autos on the 2.4 there is a bit of a mod that will make shits alot faster between gears

  • automatic trannnys are great for turbo cars theres no loss of psi as with a manuel when u shift u loose psi and it has to be gained again

  • @TheEpicDream I've got a fucked up left knee (ACL tear), and I'd hate to deny myself a powerful little car just because my knee prevents me from using a clutch. Plus with kids I love having the Auto trans. I can multitask while driving .

  • was it expensive??

i am thinking about getting one.

  • @Flamboyant8

im thinking of getting an auto SS,how is the gas mileage on it ?

    thanks,

  • @TheEpicDream

    ur fking retarded

  • That's in front of the steelers stadium. Lol

  • @TheEpicDream

True Say, i had no fucking clue how to drive stick but i bought a 2.4 SS and like a man I learned how to haha

  • @Flamboyant8 yup, i love driving stick but only when im out driving for fun or racing, we use my wifes cobalt as our Daily driver because its just a pain to sit in 2-3 hours of traffic with the manual trans, and i have my daily Auto camaro that im building to be my drag car, that way i have a Stick Auto x camaro, and a drag camaro, we do take my stick camaro when we go on long trips to the beach though lol, only because it gets more attention at Crusin week than the cobalt does lol

  • word up. I bet that within the coming years, technology will advance so much that auto transmissions will outperform manuals in all types of racing. not that I would like to see that happen though, because then racing would require less skill. but yeah man, I hate when people are like "nice car, is it a manual?" then I'm like "nah" and then they shit on me because they're retarded.

  • @Flamboyant8 there is nothing wrong with Auto's they are actually better if you want a drag car, they are way more consistent and last a hell of a lot longer than a manual trans, people think manual trans cars are faster but that's only on a road coarse or Auto X, if you wanna race straight line then the Auto driver will just laugh when you miss a gear or shift late, I have a manual camaro and my wife has an Auto Cobalt, and i love driving both
