This is the Apostolic Mass because it resembles the Tridentine Mass of the Catholic Church. It is patterened after the Jewish tradition of the High Priest offering of prayers and sacrifice at the altar. The priest alone enters the holiest of places.

I attended a Russian service in Melbourne, and was amazed that the "full choir" I heard was only 4 people. Talk about great voices!

Orthodox chants are always divine... Man..., the things i have heard in Russian, Belorussian and Ukrainian churches...!
