Vier Tondichtungen nach Arnold Böcklin

The third of four tone poems by Max Reger (1873-1916) on paintings by Arnold Böcklin (1827-1901). This work was composed on the subject of Böcklin's "Die Toteninsel" (The Isle of the Dead). Hermann Abendroth conducts the Royal Concertgebouw, 1941.
