That was sublime. The confidence and clarity of Page's playing was utterly suspenseful. It was as though he was able to reproduce the flawless and tightly woven solos that were created in isolation in the peacefulness and security of his studio. For a man so sensitive and vulnerable, its a beautiful thing to see him alive and in control once again in front of a mass of excited fans...not an easy task. God bless him and his heartfelt work with the children of Brazil.

Jimmy Page's best solo in my opinion. Completely clean of drugs and back with Robert. I saw them at Wembley Arena and this solo was spellbinding. I saw Jeff Beck play Since We Ended As Lovers and that was similarly very good. I don't really rate Jeff and, to quote JPJ, he's not as good as Page and i agree; i could never say Jeff Beck was the best guitarist in the world as some say. However i do think when it comes to blues they about equal and the best i've ever heard.

Thank you black people for giving us the art of blues. Thank you Elvis for making it poplular. Thank you Led Z. for showing us the dark side of it. Now we know. You were ahead of your time ( about 20-30 years ) . Robert P. HOW DID YOU KNOW ?
