Check the book of Enoch for the relationship between Nephilim and demons.

Apparently the demons are the dis-embodied souls the the Nephilim (giants) that were destroyed in the flood.

The Bible mentions the size of a few including Og (Deut. 3:11). Various writings put his height at 13ft or more, depending on what cubit reference was used.

The sizes recorded in the Bible aren't beyond imagination. Just look at the tallest man in Guiness Book of World Records. You don't have to be born 2 ft tall to become 18 ft tall.
