Here's my theory: Apparently Grusin has been sampled by hiphop acts lately. If you go to "Heaven Can Wait" V7rFpcPBQug it says "As Seen On: Future Producers" which is some sort of rapniggaz forum. Also read comments on "Either Way" pADrZfzPrAY. This way his back catalogue has reached people who apparently don't belong there. When these rocket scientists check out his works and find it's way above their level and not worth stealing, they press dislike.

People don't appreciate a well crafted song anymore. I put this song right up with the work of John Williams and other great film composers- this one is heart rending.

@cjdawdj Must be a Dave Grusin haters fan club. I've been trolling Youtube clips of Grusin's work tonight and am astonished at how many dislikes I've seen. They all have about a 3 - 1 or more margin of dislikes verses likes. STRANGE. And even stranger is I haven't seen negative comments in the comments section.

@stitchesful Yes. I have been up at Squam a number of times, including once in a boat. It is stunning. I saw three bald eagles in the middle of summer, the mountains are incredible, and I can begin to explain what it is like when it snows.
