I'm so sorry about the loss of your home. I too live in San Diego and while we were not evacuated during the Witch fire, it was still scary. The fire never hit my area, but I was afraid it would. I live in San Carlos. During the Cedar Fire we did have to evacuate, but luckily my area did not burn. I can only imagine how scared you were during the Witch fire. They should have given you some prior notice, it's absurd that they didn't.
