this is a quick and easy tutorial that will help you achieve effortless beachy waves. it's the perfect hairstyle for summer because there's no heat involved!

products i used:
-herbal essences totally twisted curl scrunching gel
-herbal essences tousle me softly tousling spray gel
-hair ties
-pantene volume hairspray


ON FACE:
-covergirl CG aqua smoothers tinted moisturizer in 810 light to medium
-chanel bronze universel (soleil tan de chanel)
-nars blush in gina

ON EYES:
-nyx jumbo eye pencil in yogurt
-mac eyeshadow in naked lunch all over the lid, on the inner corner, and on the brow bone as a highlight
-maybelline full n' soft waterproof mascara in very black

LIPS:
-mac tinted lip conditioner in feelin' good

NAILS:
-mac abalone shell

TOP AND JEANS:
-both from abercrombie and fitch last summer

  • @abbydanielsmusic It depends on your hair type. Leaving it in for longer would make it frizzier with tighter and more defined curls so if you have thick hair like me it might not look as good. (I learned this from experience) I like to have my hair almost dry before I do this look so it doesn't get as frizzy.

  • I take a shower every night before i got to bed, so its good for school in the morning. Would it ruin the waves if i kept it in the buns all night till morning?

  • It worked! I put it in just one bun though, and used mousse rather than gel. I took it down and it was a little wet still, but it dried and it looks great. Thanks so much, I've always wanted this look but I had no idea how to do it :)
