Acer Aspire 1693 3rd problem under warranty

I just got back my laptop from repair center and after 2 days of normal usage the screen went blank and the computer stops booting after a few seconds. Nothing appears on the screen.

Hi,

the laptop went back to acer, I think they replaced the whole mobo, graphics card, including the dvd drive. It's been running now for 1 year and it's OK. Keep my fingeers crossed...

if only i smashed my screen! the laptop stops working just by itself. again and again and again. i think if it stops for the fourth time i am entitled for a replacement with a new one!

i had the bearly same problem in a other computer...

the problem i have right now is that the screen of my pc it visualizez like a plasma screen!!!! i need help...!!!!!!

Mine is Acer 1640 and located tons of drivers and mechanical failures. I use to experience a 50% chance of successful startup and program conflict between MSN messenger and media player. I eventually replaced the original authentic windows to some bootleg windows and drivers from random chinese website and it works fine from dat point on. Other than dat, my laptop still has battery failure, touch pad failure, overheat issues, etc. Maybe I should make a video to tell ppl to beware.

replaced the RAM,

still nothing,

try to run in on a ext. screen

still nothing,so i gues its the graphic card,

but its on board of the motherboard,

so it will cost a lot of money,

so just buy a new one,and put the hard disk in that one,

or try universal boot cd :)

i have the same problem too... in my case one of two memory slot fail i buy a new memory 1gb ddr2 and put in memory slot turn off again but i change the memory slot and work very well but if the memory slot fail im fucked =P...

i have the same problem too. i bought mine around 2 years ago. the screen stays blank.

will i still get my files back?

i tooked out ma RAM and putaded the dam right back in worked for like 10 mins then the mother fucker shut down on me and was broken again ... faulty RAM?
